Almost a carbon copy of yesterday at Austin Lakes. The wind was light and fluffy for most of the morning, but it did give us a chance to run the RUM RACE. With thanks to Stephen Champion from across the ditch, there was a pretty nice bottle of Mount Gay Rum on offer. Justin McAullay performed a terrific "Stephen Bradbury" and held his position till the very end when the four boats in front of him "fell over" and allowed him to take the bottle. The most important aspect of the Rum Race - we managed to raise another $100 for Movember

Fourthy skippers fronted PRO Warren Rock for the first day of the IOM National Championships. This morning the wind from the east, but gradually shifted through the north - a fairly unusual pattern for the summer here in WA. Racing was programmed to commence at 10.30am, but it wasn't until almost noon that the sea breeze filtered in. The Officials called for a very early lunch before any racing even started.
